Delivering value to drive highest recorded profits

Since opening in 1995, HRC Recruitment has grown and developed from a small consultancy covering one market to a business spanning the entire country, covering everything from Healthcare to Law.

The relationship with HRC Recruitment started well before HRC Recruitment was conceived.

I first met Paul in 1987 when he played a pivotal role in teaching me how to be a successful Recruitment Consultant. We then engaged him formally c 2019. Due to the quality of his work, we asked him to be our chair in 2021, says Joe McShane, COO at HRC Recruitment.

The decision to engage with Jump was a simple one as Joe had first hand experience of Paul’s ability as a coach and therefore felt very confident to recommend him to the Board.

I knew what an inspiration he could be working with our staff.

The brief.

HRC Recruitment was looking to engage with a considerably experienced recruitment leader that could help tackle a broad range of issues while developing and inspiring the sales team.

Approach.

Paul, Co-founder of Jump Advisory partnered with HRC Recruitment initially as mentor and coach in 2019 and was instrumental in supporting the organisation weather the many challenges delivered during the Covid crisis.

As a result of his excellent work with the organisation he was asked to be Chair in 2021.

Paul’s counsel during the Covid crisis was invaluable. His industry knowledge & focus on detail helped us ride out this most difficult time in good shape.

Standout turning points.

When we asked Shane at HRC Recruitment if there were any stand out moments or experiences, here’s what he had to say:

Key standout moments included the management of the Covid crisis, driving our temp numbers up to achieving our ambitious target and profitability. Additionally, Paul is a valued and successful mediator in conflict situations.

Value and impact.

On describing the value and impact of working in partnership with a Jump advisor and more recently as Chair, here is what Shane had to say of her experience.

I will regret to the end of my professional career not engaging with Paul much earlier in our life cycle, because I know our business would have been in better & more robust shape quicker. I would recommend Paul & Jump’s services to any recruitment business looking to grow. Paul is a hugely valued tangible benefit professionally & personally.

Outcome.

Through the ongoing programme of works implemented by Jump and the leadership team at HRC Recruitment, in collaboration with the sales team, the 2022 profit was boosted to the highest level in 15 years.

Summary.

HRC Recruitment’s relationship with Jump has grown from strength to strength. The services provided can be summed up in two words – first class. Would Shane recommend a business mentor?

One of the most valuable of my professional life. It’s great being in regular contact with someone so intelligent, empathetic & insightful.

It is my view that you if engage, you will instantly see the benefit. You can do it on your own, but it’ll be much harder.

If you’re considering a mentor but are on the fence, discover more about how we can support you. Better yet, reach out to the Jump team today and let’s open a dialogue.
