Meet Howard. Co-founder of Jump Advisory Group with a track record of driving the acceleration of revenues and profitability within recruitment, for over 25 years. A well-known figure in the UK recruitment industry in the North of England and Scotland, Howard played a leading role in influencing APSCo’s successful growth into Yorkshire and North East regions.
He cut his teeth in technology recruitment at Computer People, where he led the North of England to be the most profitable business unit in the brand. After becoming Board Member, Howard transformed the fortunes of London and South East regions, leading them to their former glory of most profitable business unit. He continued his success guiding multiple technology businesses to achieve consistent, sustainable, and profitable growth.
With all the charm of a Yorkshireman, Howard is a proud father, devoted partner, ex semi-pro rugby player and accomplished black belt in multiple styles of martial arts. Chuck Norris eat your heart out.
Howard is passionate about teaching martial arts. He dedicates his free time to young people across Yorkshire and the North of England, enabling them to take advantage of the associated benefits of wellbeing, both mentally and physically, improved decision-making, confidence, respect, honour, humility and hard work, to succeed in all aspects of their life.
Howard’s belief is people first. His skills are focused on leadership and development and his success is founded on motivating, training and mentoring employees, executive leadership teams and business owners to exceed beyond their ambitions.

Meet Heather. Heather is an experienced Non-Executive Director and Consultant, with expertise in People strategy and practice, leadership, learning & development, employee relations and employment law. She is an ILM level 7 qualified and experienced Executive Coach with 30 years of experience working with large and small recruitment and talent solutions businesses across the UK, Europe and the USA. Her focus is on the attraction, engagement and retention of talent. Heather is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation. She is currently a NED of the REC.

Meet Paul. Co-founder of Jump Advisory Group, well-known, high-profile recruitment figure, and over 40 years’ experience of successfully accelerating growth across multiple national and international recruitment businesses and sectors, as a CEO, COO, and a Strategic Advisor. Board Director of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation, regular judge at industry awards and multiple recruitment award-winner himself, Paul reflects the best of an industry that changes lives and has created a legacy of inspiring future-focused leaders to progress beyond their ambition. He’s also a very likeable guy.
A bit of a celebrity, Paul guest-starred in over 400 national and local radio broadcasts including all BBC radio channels, IRN, ITN and Jazz FM. Friends might say ‘loves the roar of the greasepaint’, but his co-founders prefer ‘media enthusiast’. Malcontent with radio stardom, Paul extended his reach into TV with regular appearances on CNN, Channel 4, BBC One 1 and NBC. (It’s always good to have a back-up plan).
Hackney-born father of 2, grandfather of 3 (with a fourth on the way), loving husband to a very understanding wife, Paul’s other passion, coming in a (very) close second to recruitment, is his beloved Arsenal. Paul is also a member of Ronnie Scott’s (might explain his appearance on Jazz FM).
Paul has collaborated with well over 100 executive management teams to develop and accelerate strategies that have achieved impressive turnover and profit margin, at speed and scale. Instrumental in implementing the famous pink of Office Angels as MD, his skills extend beyond advisory into developing a brand as standout, that organisations in the sector followed and adopted for years to come, with significant success.

25 years of successfully scaling recruitment businesses, both nationally and internationally, father to 7 head-strong and determined children, passionate Trustee at a local teenage mental health charity and an international healthcare organisation charity, and an enthusiastic and permanently disappointed Arsenal supporter – but don’t hold the latter against him.
Dave has advised on multiple MBOs, scaled client development internationally, supported high-growth businesses across sectors, shaped future leaders and is Board member and Advisor to several niche, high growth, recruitment businesses.
Dave is a regular judge at industry awards and conference speaker and leads the REC’s approach to Business Growth.

Bernie Payne is one of the founders of Labvolution. She has almost 20 years’ legal and compliance expertise, working across a range of sectors and industries. Meet Tim. Tim is a highly experienced IT professional with a proven track record of success in the recruitment industry. With over 25 years of experience, he has developed a deep understanding of the IT market and the needs of clients, consultants and candidates.
As one of the founders and CTO of Comensura, a leading UK Managed Service Provider, Tim played a key role in the development and growth of the company. He also served as the CTO of Matrix, where he managed large IT teams and oversaw the insourcing and outsourcing of IT functions. Lately, Tim has been part of the senior leadership team that took a UK recruitment group international and tripled the size of the business.
With a wealth of experience in large-scale development and data analytics, Tim has a deep understanding of the technical challenges facing businesses today. He has worked with recruitment businesses of all sizes, from start-ups to those with over 2,500 users.
