Happy Happy 1st Birthday to Jump Advisory Group. What a year this has been with you all at by my side and supporting me on my journey the last year. I would like to thank you Paul Jacobs for believing in me and giving me the confidence to achieve in my dreams, for making me laugh, supporting me when I cried and just being YOU, I could not of achieved what I have without you! As much as TTS 24-7 has been open for 7 years I truly feel like it has only come together since I met Paul and Howard back in March 2020. I started off on their weekly webinars, engrossed on what Howard was teaching me on a weekly basic, filling my head full of new idea and motivation. I then met Paul Jacobs on my fist ever Zoom call and over a year later with Paul now as my mentor I have never felt stronger, more determined and supported. Within the last year I have now become sole owner of my business, my net profit is 5x the year before and I’m doing exactly what I always wanted do, help and support people on their journey! I could never of achieved this without Paul, Howard, Paul, Dave and Heather and all the support they give on a weekly and daily basis! You guys are invaluable to our industry, HAVE THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!

Mploy Staffing Solutions has used Paul Jacobs as a facilitator, advisor, sounding board and trainer for many years. Paul has assisted Mploy through a period of rapid growth and has acted as a mentor to the board empowering us to expand our business in a profitable and focused manner. Through lockdown the Jump Advisory webinars were an essential part of my week. They offered guidance, insight, encouragement and a degree of hope during a very unstable time, as well as offering a sense of not being in this thing alone. Since emerging from the this period, we have engaged with Paul Jacobs directly and he has become a good friend as well as a mentor to Ten Live Group. The Jump team are seasoned recruitment pros who have been there and done it. We recommend them to recruiters at all levels who seek expert opinion and advice.

I so much look forward to the weekly Jump webinar, and have attended pretty much ever week. I find it very difficult to pinpoint a particular subject which has made an impact on my business, as they have all been incredibly insightful and informative and most importantly relevant to our fantastic industry. During the past 12 months, I can honestly say that, as a small business owner having to make difficult decisions, I do not know what I would have done without the support and guidance offered by Jump. Howard in particular is my mentor and has been a tremendous support, I can not praise him enough. Please don’t stop the weekly webinars……they are great fun and I really enjoy the banter! You are all amazing ?

Jump’s webinars have been very insightful, providing food for much thought! The differing thoughts and opinions of the diverse team presented in a fun way have stimulated new ideas and ways of thinking whilst also reminding us of the importance of the fundamentals that are often overlooked but proven critical during the pandemic. It’s been exciting and fruitful taking away key pointers from the webinars and putting them into practice.

The Marketing Forum Paul has been running has been absolutely invaluable. Not only is it insightful and has given me a chance to learn new skills and develop on ones I have, but it’s given me the opportunity to learn with, and from, my peers across the country. The Forum is a chance for a group of recruitment marketing professionals to share ideas and best practice in a safe and non-competitive environment. You truly will not know what you’ve been missing out on until you give it a try. Paul oversees the forum, enables us to take part and has been very helpful as a mentor to me individually as well. His extensive experience and knowledge is only outweighed by his enthusiasm to share it and for all these reasons I highly recommend Jump.

Our first introduction to Paul and Howard was through a LinkedIn post at the beginning of lock-down April 2020. Our staff were working from home, our clients had stopped calling and our vacancies were put on hold. We came across a posting for ‘recruitment training webinars’ and at the time Paul and Howard were running 2 programmes per week and guess what, they were ‘FREE’! We started to participate each week for over a year and thanks to Paul and Howard and certainly in our case they were a huge slice of encouragement, hope, motivation, and inspiration. A time for us to rethink how we operate, where we can improve, how we can engage with our clients through a difficult time without bombarding them with sales, sales, sales. This was the starting point …….. Their videos, training sessions and guidance brought us back to what made us successful when we first started in Recruitment over 30 years ago, we went back to the basics. Since then, myself and Vivienne my business partner, have successfully worked with Paul as our business mentor and trainer for our recent new hire Amy. Our mentoring meetings are monthly, and they have helped to instil some focus and direction to the business. To all the SME recruitment businesses out there it was the best investment we made. Paul has encouraged us to work beyond covid, plan for success, think about what we can offer the marketplace and focused our attention on a healthier business model. We might be small but one day we will be mighty and that’s a huge thank you to Paul, Howard and the Jump Team.

During "lockdown", Howard and his colleagues presented on the weekly REC webinars covering a wide range of support for agencies during this difficult time. Although we have been in business for many years, we were immediately attracted to Howard’s no-nonsense approach, his enthusiasm, knowledge and boundless energy. Having accepted a complimentary hour session with him to discuss our company’s vision and plans for the future we have never looked back. It’s no exaggeration to say that since meeting Howard it’s been a total game-changer for our business! He is a genuine guy who truly gets under the skin of your organisation, is inspirational and delivers his training and coaching techniques with a passion that’s both challenging and rewarding.

The Jump webinars have become part of my ‘must-do’ weekly events, these were really important especially during lockdown periods as it was great to realise we weren’t ‘alone in all this’. “Better days are ahead, business is picking up and there is a buzz of excitement in the air. But this time last year it was a different story, lock-down, stay home, don’t see family or friends, couldn’t get a shopping slot, and limited to an hour walk a day – you couldn’t write it. As a small business owner, I felt alone and quite frankly scared, I had to put on a brave face for my team but I was isolated and having to make discissions that I never dreamt I would be faced with, the permanent market died a death overnight and the majority of our temporary workers were told not to go to work until further notice. Out of the blue, I received a call from Howard, I will be honest his timing was perfect, I was struggling and the support I had from him was second to none – even though I did not engage his services he kept regular contact with me and still does. He was caring in a genuine supportive way and made me see things in a different light, it was not all dome and gloom. I looked forward to the weekly webinars – they gave me a sense of hope for the future and that we would come through this challenging year stronger than ever and we have. I’ve learnt so much and continue to do so; thank you Howard the work you and your team do is informative, supportive, and thought-provoking.”

I have benefited from Paul Jacobs' trusted experience and advice in recruitment and leadership for over 8 years. His overriding skill is in understanding the unique aspects of our business and our people, and tailoring the advice and strategies to suit. Paul has seen and done it all in recruitment (valuable!) yet he is always looking for new ways to bring better results (invaluable). He is the most supportive adviser and trusted friend.

Dave has been a fantastic member of our exec team over the last 2 years +. He has helped us focus minds on growing the business rather than just running the business! He has an innate ability to challenge your assumptions whilst respecting and understanding the culture + values of your business. Dave is a great mentor, advisor and his years of operational and board-level experience have played a significant part in the strategic decisions that brought about a quadrupling of our Perm revenue. He has also offered invaluable guidance to us in achieving our goals to scale our legacy contract business. The wider offering of the Jump Advisory Group team has also been very valuable.

I first engaged with the Howard Greenwood and Paul Jacobs in their former company, Love Work Life, when they started running online webinars at the start of the covid pandemic. These webinars were a revelation to me and have continued to be every week since the Jump Advisory Group was formed by them both, with Paul Sharpe, Dave Pye and latterly Heather Salway joining the team. Despite the fact that I have been in recruitment at G2 Legal for 20+ years and a business-owner since 2012, I have never engaged the services of a business mentor or coach, so I have never had the benefit of looking at my business from an external perspective, only from an internal and with an introspective gaze. I am proud to say that G2 Legal has been a successful recruitment business for over two decades, but the knowledge and experience that the Jump team have brought to bear, not only for me, but all my team with the induvial mentoring sessions that Paul Jacobs in now undertaking with my senior team members, has had and is having a demonstrative and quantifiable benefit for our business. The sage advice offered with regards to: improving business development with clients; offering candidates the best ‘customer service’ throughout the recruitment cycle and after-care service; how to maximise revenue and profits; ensuring your values and purpose are aligned not only with your employees but with those of clients and candidates; ensuring that you strive to be best in sector and relationships are strong, valued, and you are a ‘partner’ to all those you deals with; that your employees are your main asset, so ensure you treat them well and look after their mental health and wellbeing, are just some of the matters that have been covered, and if any recruitment business, like mine, has adopted even just some of their advice, then they will be better for it. I can’t thank the team enough for giving their time freely on their webinars (and putting in place the subsequent courses/mentoring sessions resulting from these) and for the impact they have had. Many congratulations to you all on your First Anniversary and here’s to many more.
