“Better days are ahead, business is picking up and there is a buzz of excitement in the air.
But this time last year it was a different story, lock-down, stay home, don’t see family or friends, couldn’t get a shopping slot, and limited to an hour walk a day – you couldn’t write it.
As a small business owner, I felt alone and quite frankly scared, I had to put on a brave face for my team but I was isolated and having to make discissions that I never dreamt I would be faced with, the permanent market died a death overnight and the majority of our temporary workers were told not to go to work until further notice.
Out of the blue, I received a call from Howard, I will be honest his timing was perfect, I was struggling and the support I had from him was second to none – even though I did not engage his services he kept regular contact with me and still does. He was caring in a genuine supportive way and made me see things in a different light, it was not all dome and gloom.
I looked forward to the weekly webinars – they gave me a sense of hope for the future and that we would come through this challenging year stronger than ever and we have.
