The relationship started four years ago when Leanne Finnigan – MD at Jobwise met Paul, Co-Founder of Jump Advisory Group at a recruitment networking event.
I felt extremely comfortable with him. He has immense knowledge and expertise in the recruitment field, having worked for many years in our sector. But not just that I felt he “got us” and could work with me and my team. He is also a very nice genuine caring person which helps!
Whilst Leanne was initially quite skeptical at what she could learn or gain (as she always is, in her own words)
But she quickly became an immediate convert following lots of questions that got the team at Jobwise thinking.
During lockdown Paul was extremely supportive and helped Jobwise navigate the turmoil, adapting Jobwise’s business offering to suit a more remote way of working.
Paul also helped Jobwise integrate a video platform as part of our process when presenting CVs to clients, which has made this organisation stand out from their competitors.
When asked to summarise the value and impact or working with Paul at Jump, here is how Leanne described her experience.
Paul has worked with my fellow Directors, which in turn has created a robust team around me. It is useful to have another opinion and sounding board for all 3 of us. Someone I can rely on to help in my absence too.
I trust him, can rely on him and thoroughly enjoy working with him.
The outcome of working with Paul was incredibly positive with Jobwise experiencing their best ever year ending 2022, which was the year Jobwise worked directly with the advisory support from Paul at Jump.
In Leanne’s opinion, having a mentor or trusted advisor is a must.
It is a lonely job and I often second guess myself. Having Paul to bounce off, gives me confidence to make decisions.
